I just watched a video called "Meet your Meat", it pretty much just showed me how the human population gets their daily helping of protein. The employees use some sadistic and painful methods of execution on the animals, slitting the throat while alive, scalding to death, etc., What's the point in using such brutal methods, when simply an injection could suffice. This would save them the trouble of using more man power to restrain an animal that is writhing on the ground from having its throat cut open. I wonder how one would get a job like that : must be able to tolerate large amounts of blood, must be able to endure hours of screams of death and pain, must be void of a soul XD. I don't agree with their methods of treatment or killing, but this hasn't turned me into a vegetarian. I'm not trying to turn anyone into a vegetarian, I'm just here to inform you. If your a vegetarian then more power to you.
Go ahead and watch the video, it's some what gory
Beware, because you might turn into a vegetarian or
try to organize an animal uprising.

zOMG Lockdown XD
Yeah, so I was at Vo. Tech when I get a text from my friend saying that our highschool is in lockdown. I ask him what's going on but he didn't really know. I really don't know when they released everybody, but apparently it was about 15 minutes or more after the bell to go home had rung. I just watched the news and they said that there were apparently reports of a student with a weapon, this led to every single student being checked by metal detector. The turn out was finding that no had a weapon. I thought musical practice would be cancelled in light of this little escapade, but life goes on and so does musical practice XD
Now I have to think of a way to take my zune to school tommorow without it getting detected by the metal detectors. I'll find a way though, be it by sneaky methods or some quick thinking on the spot. I just hope something like this doesn't happen again, because this is all very reminescent of last years bomb threats and the days of the fire alarm being pulled every week.

Nothing Special
Musical practice was boring today all we did was run through the whole thing with just speaking parts. Work tommorw then more practice on Thursday, just found out my friend got accepted into Pittsburg University, I don't know how he managed that because he spelled university in the text as "univercity". I wish him the best of luck, I also realized i don't know what he is going to major in, I'll ask him tommorow. Nothing exciting happening yet in life, hoping something happens tommorw.

Went to gamestop saw an Xbox 360, only $300. I think I'll buy it within the next three weeks. Still not sure what game I will buy if I do decide to buy it.

Epic

We left for Houston from Oklahoma City at 10 am, we were originally planning on leaving at 8 which meant we were already running late. Antoine also lost $180, this meant that I had to pay for gas twice. Trip starting out bad.
We made one stop in some town called Marietta in Oklahoma or something like that, and we didn't plan on stopping anywhere else because we didn't want to be late for the Dir en Grey concert. Things go well by the time we get to Houston, because it was only 6:45 or so when we got there. By this time I had been wanting to go to the bathroom for the past five hours, the pain was intense O_O.
We get to the place where the concert is going to be, we were the last ones in line for a while but a lot more people started arriving there. At around 7 pm the doors to the house of blues open and the line starts moving, its take us about ten minutes to get to front. We get to the fron and the bouncer guy tells me to empty out my pockets, I pull out my wallet, zune, Uroboros cd, cellphone and camera. He then proceeds to move his metal detector thing over my body and finds nothing, but then he grabs my camera and tells me to turn off the flash and was also making sure it wasn't a professional camera, he lets me keep it. I start walking to the entrance because I'm dying to use the bathroom but I'm stopped by another bouncer. He then grabs my camera looks at it for a minute then tells me I can't bring it in because it can record video. So now I have to go back to the car and put the camera back up, but first I ask him if I can use the bathroom, he was kind enough to say yes.I go back to the car and put the camera up and run back up to the house of blues. They scan my ticket and let me in.
At around 7:45 the opening band comes on, I didn't enjoy them as much as Brandon did, thats just because I don't listen to or like american rock as of now. They were ok to say the least. Finally they finish playing there ten songs and the dir en grey crew starts setting up the stage, this goes on for about 15 minutes. Finally the stage goes dark and Sa Bir starts playing and shadowy figures start getting into place. The lights shoot on and kyo is standing on his platform. The crowd goes wild, and then Obscure start. Next thing you know the mosh pit starts.
One of the greatest moments was when kyo started singing Agitated Screams of Maggots -unplugged version- he is the only one on the stage at this point. Everyone in the crowd goes silent and all you hear is the epicness of unplugged live, it was very ominous. After that the rest of the band comes on stage and the next song plays(I'm not sure what song)then more mosh pitting. I joined in a few mosh pits, i got a bruised arm, my zipper to my hoodie fell off and the left pocket got ripped, and then i got punched in the jaw by a girl, it didn't hurt it just surprised me ^^.
Glass Skin was so amazing live, I'm really glad I got to hear it. After the band finished shinya threw his drumsticks, kaoru, die and toshiya threw their pick, my friend found one of die's picks on the ground and gave it to me. We went over to the merch booth and I bought the uroboros shirt, and then came getting my cd signed. I tried looking for antoine because he had my cd because he had the most pockets, I couldn't find him . A bounce guy came up to me and said if I didn't have my cd I had to leave, so he kicked me out. Only shinya and kaoru were signing stuff. Kinda pissed I didn't get my cd signed.
This was my first concert, and my first jrock concert. Overall, between antoine losing his money and running late, November 25, 2008 is one of the greatest days of my life and and I can't wait for the next tour so I can make more great memories. ^^

Concert Angst!
Its the night before the concert and I'm just getting ready for the big day. Got to burn a couple of cds with some dir en grey because some of my friends going to the concert haven't heard much by them (hope they aren't dissapionted). I'm also charging everything I'm gonna take like camera, cellphone, and DS. This is going to be one long car drive to Houston. I'll try and write about my experience there, whenever I come back.

Something Japanese this way comes.
So I was driving home from work and I was listening to the radio (which I never do), I was listening to the rock station 94.7 because I thought I might give American rock another chance at life. As usual all I heard was the same generic crap by every band that played, and then the announcer guy said " next up we have new music by( he started listing off all these American bands, but it was the last band he said that almost made me slam the brakes). The last band he said was........DIR EN GREY(face at moment of name>>>> O_O). Dir en Grey are truly the pioneers of Japanese rock, now I'll be listening to the radio to see if Dir en Grey gets another chance to shine or maybe even another Japanese band will. And the song they played was Dozing Green, the english version of course, American rock is still dead to me. XDD
